Although the subject came up here and there during the presidential race, it was largely dismissed by the media and The Political Republican Opinion blog as a far-fetched desperation play by Obama haters. I mean, I didn’t want the guy elected any more than the next Republican, but I was hardly willing to start grasping at straws.
Lately, however, there has been a growing movement to prove that Barack Obama is not a citizen. I have ignored it for the most part as a ludicrous idea promoted by a bunch of wishful thinkers; but, the more the furor builds, the more I begin to wonder myself, “what is this guy hiding?”
During the election, I briefly mentioned Andy Martin’s “Operation Aloha Obama” investigation in a post titled, “Marxist? … Socialist? … Who Is Barack Obama?” Martin’s in-depth investigation pointed out the road blocks that were put up all over our southernmost state in an attempt to hide the President-elect’s true identity (which, according to Martin, is “Frank Marshall Davis Jr.”).
Then there was the article by Stanley Kurtz, showing how the University of Illinois locked up access to the Annenberg Challenge documents that Barack Obama and William Ayers worked on together.
How about the fact that no papers from Barack Obama’s college years have been revealed or the fact that Obama wouldn’t release his medical records?
Quite a disturbing pattern, I must say!
Because the mainstream Liberal media is doing what it has always done – completely ignoring anything that casts a shadow on Barack Obama – the Obama camp has been able to be dismissive. They will continue to hide the secrets about the man until there is public pressure to reveal them. Even then, he has already assembled a team of law firms (no, not lawyers … we’re talking entire firms here) to combat any attempts at getting information about his past revealed.
Maybe there really is something to the whole Obama missing birth certificate thing. If he really has nothing to hide, why wouldn’t he put everything out there for the public record? Then again, I recall the same things being said not too long ago about Roger Clemmons and Barry Bonds – we all know how that turned out!
The common sense side of me reasons that we couldn’t possibly have elected a man who is constitutionally forbidden from holding the office of President. My “something smells fishy here” side, however, believes there very well may be something rotten in Denmark!
The Russian online newspaper Pravda is beginning to think that Americans fell prey to the biggest con-job in US history when they gave unprecedented millions to support a man who may not be eligible to be our President. Damn! That part about Pravda just goes straight to the quick. If this were such a non-issue then he would have had the birth certificate produced in short order. Hell, why doesn’t he just put up a copy at change.gov?

According to my Russian “Pen Pal”, it is popular Russian belief that Obama isn’t a citizen. Some groups of people even say that he was sent in by the Islamic Extremist to end America… To far fetched? What do we really know about Obama? Just the other day it was released that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) was the subject in a huge FBI investigation that has been going on since about 2006. Up until then Obama was friends with Blagojevich, he even endorsed him for Governor. Just yesterday Obama denounced all ties with Blagojevich saying he doesn’t talk to him. Which almost reminds me of his church, that he goes to all of the time, the church that preaches against America, the church Obama has never heard preach against America. I cant trust a word that comes from Obama’s lips. And neither should the rest of America.

Hi Ian - Yeah, I know, I know; I have been quite neglectful as of late. Unfortunately, real life intervenes every now and then and throws us major curve balls.
I got a call from a man I used to work for who needed help starting a new company, so I have been spending every waking minute doing face-to-face marketing, working on a website and working on a new blog for him (coming soon).
In addition, I started another blog about the Wii entertainment system, findwiinow.com, that took quite some time to start up. It, incidentally has been grossly neglected for the last ten days, as well.
Finally, my father died a couple of days ago and it’s been sort of on my mind.
Anyway, I know there is no room for excuses, but I thought I’d at least try to explain. I should have something new up shortly and apologize for my recent absence from the political discussion scene.
I, too, thank you for noticing my neglect and appreciate your patience!
