You just gotta love Bill Clinton! Just one day before he is set to speak at the Democratic National Convention, ole Bill comes out with this gem: “Suppose for example you’re a voter. And you’ve got candidate X and candidate Y. Candidate X agrees with you on everything, but you don’t think that person can deliver on anything. Candidate Y disagrees with you on half the issues, but you believe that on the other half, the candidate will be able to deliver. For whom would you vote?”

After getting the astonished looks he surely was expecting, the former President added, “This has nothing to do with what’s going on now.” Sure it doesn’t, Bill.

Hillary has no choice but to fall in line with the Democratic Party if she has any hope at all of becoming President some day in the future. She would, of course, rather have that day come sooner than later. Anything short of a last second Obombashell would mean that her next chance wouldn’t occur for at least four more years – and that’s only if Obama loses!

It would seem that the Clintons may have decided that their best course of action is to have Hillary toe the party line while Bill does the dirty work. They need for Barack Obama to lose so that Hillary doesn’t lose eight years worth of potential momentum.

You really have to give it to the Clintons; even when they are down, they are never really out. Even when they appear to be out, they always have a foot in the door, scraping something off their shoes.
