I’m tired of seeing it. It’s one thing if a candidate runs an attack ad filled with facts that cast one of their political rivals in a bad light. It’s another thing, though, when the attack is worded in such a way to make a good thing sound like something that is bad. “The Bridge to Nowhere.” It is a phrase that was used effectively by the Obama campaign against Sarah Palin and now, Mitt Romney … (ahem) … I mean the “Romney Super P.A.C.” has been blanketing the nation with an ad that condemns Rick Santorum for voting for the same “bridge to nowhere” that Palin backed.
